In the evening EVERYONE walks the streets, to see and be seen in their Sunday best.

We may have felt hot, tired, sticky and scruffy, but the Madrellenos have had an afternoon siesta, perfumed and dressed up they are ready to party!

Street performers dressed as Ghandi, angels, Don Quixote and even Homer posed artistically at every street corner with their collection jar prominently desplayed. Some were particularly clever like this angel who is floating .
