Ronda

We left Tarifa after one last walk around town and headed off inland to the breathtaking picturesque cliff edge town of Ronda.

We took a stroll around Ronda exploring Wine Museums, bandit Museums, churches and gardens. As it was Saturday there were some very beautiful people coming or going from a wedding or some other very formal gathering.

Ronda is famous for the 300 foot gorge dividing the city. This is the New Bridge.. only a couple of hundred years old!

Looking back at the viewing platform we had just been standing on was a sobering experience. Just because this city has been here for 400 years or more is no reason to stand so close to the edge.

One of our party had a birthday yesterday so we celebrated in style in the main square.
One last walk down to the Puento Nuevo before bedtime .

  1. More great photos. You'll have to post a few bad ones to avoid being monotonous.
